Ingredients

  • Vegetable oil or butter for greasing
  • 3 large eggs (ideally at room temperature)
  • 125g caster sugar
  • 125g plain flour
  • 1 tablespoon warm water
  • Half a jar of raspberry or strawberry jam, about 200g

2. Sponge cake

Ingredients (allrecipes)

  • 225g (8 oz) self-raising flour
  • 225g (8 oz) butter, at room temperature
  • 225g (8 oz) caster sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

3. Pound cake  (recipe)

1/2 pound (2 sticks) butter, plus more for pan
1/2 cup vegetable shortening
3 cups sugar
5 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for pan
1/2 teaspoon fine salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 250g butter, softened
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups self-raising flour
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • icing sugar mixture, to serve

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (260g)

    3 teaspoons baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup white sugar (165g)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk (240ml)
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil  (60ml = 4 tablespoons)

  •        45 gram dầu ăn ( 3 tablespoons)

7. Cupcake  (recipe)

• 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour (300g)
• 1 1/3 cups sugar (290g)
• 3 teaspoons baking powder  (15g=1 tablespoon)
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup shortening / butter  (115g)
• 1 cup milk  (240ml)
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 large eggs

  • 2 quả trứng (110gram không tính vỏ)
  • 120ml sữa tươi

CONVERT

1 cup Butter =  227 grams (a cup of butter weighs 8 ounces)

1 cup All-Purpose Flour = 128 g   /4.5 oz  (1 cup of bread flour = 136 g)

1 cup White sugar (granulated sugar)  = 220 g / 7.75 oz

1 cup = 240ml (1 tablespoon = 15ml,  1 tsp = 5ml)

1 cup = 16 tablespoons /  1 tablespoon = 3 tsp
